EV Buyers Guide has a new video walking through a cutaway of the bZ4X and in it he drops a nugget that I hadn't heard about the motor configuration on the Lexus RZ -- namely, that it will use a pair of the more powerful 201hp motors from the fwd bZ.
That's different from the awd setup in the Toyota and Subaru Solterra which both use a pair of less powerful 107hp motors for a combined 214hp, and I guess means we should expect a combined 402hp in the Lexus.
He goes on to speculate about future versions of the Toyota that might mix-and-match with a 201hp motor in the rear and the 107hp motor in the front for a combined 300+hp.
I'm glad to hear this. Its a typically smart approach from Lexus/Toyota.
I've cued up the video so you can see the relevant part here.
