Just read from a British article that the RZ will start at 62,600 pounds that comes out to $77,379. Not the under $60,000 that I have been reading. At that price there are a lof of other options, one being the Caddilac Lyric which will start around $60,000 and has a 312 mile range and can home fast charge at 19.6 KW. Hoping that lexus price is wrong but it did say it will get 271 miles

Welcome to the forum @Dony45! Thanks for sharing this! My guess is that it won't be a direct conversion for the US prices but that is higher than I expected. Fingers crossed for when the American numbers get released.

Are you considering the Lyriq along with the RZ?

It seems like UK is priced much higher than US. It might be the cost of shipping a longer distance. I did figure a general figure using the Canadian prices for their RZ and UK prices for the Current RX series and it puts the RZ base price at just over $60,000. Definitely a car I am interested in.

Import duties may be different between countries. How much dealer profit there is and how many other concessions the manufacturers make to dealers, will also be different between markets. Plenty of variables.

I was interested in an RZ, but the Solterra has almost all the same safety features and functions, in a slightly different package for what I believe will end up being quite a bit less money.

And I got tired of waiting, after the whole wheel recall thing.

Got my Solterra two weeks ago. Love it.

Lexus has announced pricing for the long-awaited 2023 RZ all-electric SUV. The Lexus RZ 450e gets a starting price of $64,950 CAD, and for that it will deliver to buyers 312 hp of output and an estimated range of up to 360 km (depending on the wheel size).

After the $64,950 for the RZ 450e Signature, pricing for the RZ 540e Luxury is set at $73,550, while the range-topping RZ 450e Executive starts at $80,950. All pricing is without counting freight and destination charges.

This was dated Jan 19, 2023 and is Canadian. If true, when I do a CAD to USD conversion it shows the starting price to be $48,881. It shows three models but I think US is only getting two and it might start with middle one which would be $55,531.
