UPDATE:
I actually do notice a big difference today. Prior to the update, when the battery was topped off, A/C on, I had about 168 mile range. Now, it reads 223 miles with A/C on. 242 miles, A/C off. Much better!

Go into the climate settings. If you switch on ECO heat/AC you will see only a 5-10 mile drop and if you go regular heat/AC you can see the old drop of 30 or so miles.

With 3.4mi/kWh with 100% charge
218 mile range with no heat/AC
208 mile range with ECO heat/AC
188 mile range with standard heat/AC

This is all the top of my head. You can turn your heat/AC off and see that the number is, turn it on and see it drop and then play with the ECO setting and see it change as well.

Overall I am happy with the update. I am seeing better range on longer rides with the ECO.

I usually keep it on ECO all the time and only turn it to full power to get cold fast for a few minutes and resume ECO. I wish there was a programmable button on the dash info screen for that like pressing the deicer and auto turns off after a few minutes.

Actually, having a programmable hot keys on the bottom of the screen would be nice.

 

This approach works really well with ceramic window tint taking the burden off the ac once frosty.

 

I just need to turn on the car remotely 1-2 minutes before I go to it.
