Software update Privilege Line?

I recently got my new RZ and the dealer told me that there was a new update which should increase the range by about 30-50 km along with some other small changes and improvements.
After a few days I noticed that the battery % was nowhere to be seen on the car so I called the dealer to ask and he then told me it should be visible due to the latest update. But in my car it wasn't... He then called me back later to tell me that the update apparently was only done for the Business and Executive Line but not yet for the Privilege Line. He had no information when this update would come...

Does anyone here have any more information about the future update? Pretty strange to me that they don't update the different lines at the same time?

That's really strange. I would hope you could get the update, giving you the battery % display, regardless of trim. My dealer has never mentioned a word about an update that provides more range, though I got the % update to the display. Maybe a gimmick? IDK. I would call another Lexus dealer, if you have another near you.
The range update was confirmed to me by a contact I have at Toyota Motor.
Apparently the safety buffer when you reach 0% was rather big before the update (around 80km). With the new update they brought this back down to 25km which gives you an additional 40-50 km "range". Actually you always had this range available but it just wasn't visual. In the end the car won't really drive further than before but it will take longer before it shows 0% battery and then you should still be able to drive around 25 km.

Not sure if this applies but here in the UK the Premium Plus line doesn't have it either and Belfast Lexus has said that it's not been rolled out to Heads Up Display models due to an issue it bricks the display. that is a full dash out to replace so all upgrades are restricted to those models without Heads Up Display until Lexus fixes the issue
I guess the Premium Plus Line is the same as the Privilege Line then? Explains why I have not received the update yet. Hope they find the fix soon though...
Sidenote: always wondered why Toyota/Lexus use different names for the different "Lines" in some countries

I was able to schedule my service today. There was no update.
My car is still on build 2050.

I got an email from the tech advisor at my local Lexus dealership sharing information from a tech forum for Lexus service and dealership. On the email it states that there is a TISB that the update is only for the BZ4X. Some Rz say it is available but the TISB advises not to update yet. The techs speculated that it may come down in the future.
So why do some RZ already have the update but others don't? Doesn't really make sense does it?
I'll try to get some more information through my Toyota Motor contact

It was shipped from the factory with the update. There could be hardware or software revisions between manufacturing dates.

From what I read from the Solterra forum, the update does two things: 1) adding the SOC %, 2) moves reserve wKh from the below 0% SOC to the usable 0-100% . Posters from there suggest that instead of having a 80 km of sub 0% range is now 26 km now; this assumes you have 54 km more range in the 0-100% SOC.

Personally, for my needs it does not make any difference between those two points.
Yes, just had it confirmed by my contact at Toyota Motor that they weren't yet updating the privilege or luxury lines with the update due to the bricking error. The update should come soonish...
